Dr Jeremy Hammond, Chiropractor

"

Dr Jeremy Hammond is a chiropractor at the University of Sydney and is a member of the Australian Chiropractors’ Association.
Dr Jeremy Hammond actually didn't intend to become a Chiropractor and was originally working towards studying physiotherapy. However in his last year at school he developed severe spinal pain that could leave him paralysed on the ground for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. It wasn't until his father suggested that he go to a chiropractor that Dr Hammond got any relief. He was amazed that within 2 weeks the spinal pain and disability was completely gone. That made it obvious to him that Chiropractic had the ability to make fundamental, dramatically fast, lifelong improvement to health. After this experience he wanted to help others in the same way and decided to study Chiropractic.
He has gained a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University, Sydney and has continually undertaken postgraduate chiropractic education on a yearly basis. These areas of specialised interest are certifications in custom orthotic prescription, Denneroll spinal orthotics & remodelling table, Webster technique, pediatric chiropractic, and Rockblade IASTM. He routinely uses Gonstead technique, whole body adjusting, Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP).
Since 2000 Dr Jeremy Hammond has been in private practice, mostly as the chiropractor at the Sports Clinic at the University of Sydney until establishing his own clinic at the University of Sydney's Wentworth Building. Other experience has included being a sports chiropractic supervisor at the Sydney World Masters Games and the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker Event. These days, Dr Jeremy helps his other practitioners deliver high quality, research derived therapy for safe, efficient and long term effective results.
Dr J, as he is often called by patients, enjoys family life with 3 children, a wellness lifestyle of good food, exercise and personal development. He is also interested in innovative products and services, design and excellence.
